Saturday 10th - Bumper Christmas Market #2
This week marks the second of our bumper Christmas markets with lots of extra stalls outside and inside selling everything from Christmas trees to local cheese, flowers to bread, chocolate to pork, eggs to cakes, jams to hemp, takeaway snacks, as well as our usual array of local organic veg and meats.
Why not get some seasonal shopping then stay for food in the market cafe.

Traditional veg thali - variety of lentils and vegetable, curry served with a whole wheat roti & rice

Chana Masala - spicy chick peas &fresh spinach, served with a Daba (made using organic flour)
Sandwich Pakora - made from potato, bread, onion, ginger, coriander leafs, & a pouched egg
Chick peas pulou with pakora & freshly made raita - chick peas rice, vegetable pakora, & home made raita

Stalls taking Christmas orders:
Willowbrook Farm - Embden Geese (they’ve sold out of chickens) order taken up to 16th December, for delivery on 23rd December.
Sandy Lane Farm - ham
Coopers Pork – taking orders at the 10th December market or by email for collection at 17th and 24th December markets
SESI’s last stall for 2016 is 17th December – they’ll be back on 7th January 2016.
Community News
Members of Oxford Refugee Response Hub are going to the Dunkirk refugee camp on 17th December. They urgently need rice, flour, cooking oil, tinned chickpeas, tinned kidney beans, tinned tomatoes, nuts and raisins, cereals, dates, oat bars, and biscuits.
