Along with our usual staples, we will have more raspberries from Sotwell Manor Fruit Farm, nuts from Heath Farm Nuts, Crudges Cheese, award-winning jams and more from Brynmoor Conserves, local apple juice from Tiddly Pommes, and local chillies, including some suitable for freezing, from Chilies2U. Make. Do. Mend. are back with sewing alterations, repairs & commissions, Oxford Poetry Library is back for another week, and Blissful Italian will be selling fresh pasta to cook at home. We also have another great selection of takeaways, sweet treats from Naturally Sweet, and home cooked food in the café courtesy of Joby’s Kitchen.

Community News

Oxford Grenoble twinning link are putting on a weekend of events on 14th and 15th October on an environmental theme. On Saturday 14th they’re having an opening event for their exhibition Material World at SJE Arts, St John the Evangelist Church, Iffley Road 2-4:30pm with a short jazz interlude at 3pm. At 5:30pm there’ll be a talk on The Problem with Plastic by local resident, market regular, and Editor of The Ecologist, Oliver Tickell.
