Harvest Festivals aplenty!
Barracks Lane Community Garden's annual harvest festival celebration is on Saturday from 11am - 4pm. So plenty of time to join them after the market! There will be honey harvesting and candle rolling, a foraging stall and treasure hunt, apple pressing and bobbing (bring your own apples and bottles if you have them), chutney making over an open fire, pizza and bread making in the wood burning oven, a felting workshop with Nature Effect, and crop and plants to share and exchange. More info on their website.
And on Sunday we have Hogacre Common's annual Harvest Festival! Between 12noon and 5pm(ish), we will be celebrating our work and the generosity of the land we work with. Come down for an afternoon of delicious local food, music, games, and appreciating the community spirit. More details here.
