Market News

Another wonderful autumn market this week. Fresh flowers and healthy salads outside as well as your local veg, fruit meat and eggs. Inside you'll find a new stall joining us - Naturally Sweet make sugar-free cakes - read below about what they can offer. We also have Oxford Delhi with their yummy snacks and curries, Sarah of Brynmoor Conserves with her award-winning jams and Sheree of Chocsford has some treats which may involve a little bit of sugar!

North Aston Dairy will be back this week, however stock is still very low - so Crudge's Cheese will also again bring some lovely Homleigh Dairy milk.

Community News

Harvest Festivals aplenty!

Barracks Lane Community Garden's annual harvest festival celebration is on Saturday from 11am - 4pm. So plenty of time to join them after the market! There will be honey harvesting and candle rolling, a foraging stall and treasure hunt, apple pressing and bobbing (bring your own apples and bottles if you have them), chutney making over an open fire, pizza and bread making in the wood burning oven, a felting workshop with Nature Effect, and crop and plants to share and exchange. More info on their website.

And on Sunday we have Hogacre Common's annual Harvest Festival! Between 12noon and 5pm(ish), we will be celebrating our work and the generosity of the land we work with. Come down for an afternoon of delicious local food, music, games, and appreciating the community spirit. More details here.
