Market News
Following last week's Referendum vote and the rise in xenophobic and racist incidents since, we would like to say that the market remains committed to being a welcoming space for everyone. Our market is more than a place to buy food – it is a hub for the community it aims to serve. The diversity of East Oxford is reflected in the diversity of our offer, from Europe and beyond, that our brilliant traders bring you, as well as in the make-up of our management committee and our other amazing volunteers.
It's an excellent market this week. Sotwell Manor Fruit Farm will have raspberries and strawberries; you can enjoy Polish, Italian and Greek (see our Featured Stall) cuisine - all made using local ingredients - and East Oxford Primary School (which hosts the market) are joining us with an info stall.
