We are thrilled to welcome back Ingrid to the market café this week. After a break of a year or so it will be a delight to have her Gallic flair back in the kitchen – and this Saturday's menu looks like just the thing for a wet February weekend. However, I'm afraid the agony of no North Aston Dairy persists again this week but top dairyman, Josh, says 'things have really picked up so we’’ll definitely be there the following week unless there’s any unforeseen problems'.
Next week – Reuse and sustainability centre Bicester Green are running a 'Restart Party' - a small electricals repair stand. Bring along your broken radios, lamps, or anything else not working properly and Bicester Greens experts will attempt to fix it. Please note full working order is not guaranteed! But they hope to save some things from being thrown away.
Fancy working at the market? We are looking for a new cleaner and outside stall putter-uppers. The cleaning shift pays £15, takes roughly 60 minutes and starts at 1pm just as the market closes. Outside stall technicians get paid £20 per Saturday and the work involves constructing the stalls between 8.15-9.15am and taking them down between 1.15-2pm. Either would be perfect for someone who lives close by or attends the market regularly. Email This email address is being protected from spambots.
