The national 'Love Your Local Market' fortnight started this week. We have much to celebrate in Oxford - with an impressive eight regular markets dotted around and about the city, many of them community-run and focussing on local produce like our own. Throughout the fortnight we've been posting the stories of the producers (all within 30 miles) that make our markets great on our Facebook and Twitter profiles. Please share your love of our markets by sharing the posts!

This week's selection of stalls is a great example of why our city is such a great place to live and eat. Vegetables grown in Tiddington; eggs laid near Kidlington; coffee roasted in Jericho and cheese made from Cotswolds milk as well as fantastic curries, falafel, bread, cakes, jams and more all made within or near our city. We really want to use the opportunity the 'Love Your Local Market' fortnight offers us to expand the number of people enjoying our market - so please tell your friends, forward this email on and use social media to spread the love.
