It's the time of year to get out in the garden or plant up some pots for that windowsill and Homesown are here once again to offer you great-priced small plants they have lovingly cultivated in their own gardens. They are also a great source of advice.

Indoors, Chocsford will have Easter Eggs, Chicks and Bunnies, the highlight being the 'Buzzy Bee Honeycomb Egg' containing honeycomb crunch made with Wolvercote honey. Sea salt caramel eggs, Piedmont hazelnut praline eggs and chirpy chicks will also be on the table.

Finally, Sarah of Brynmoor Conserves is back with her excellent jams and chutneys. Make sure to pop by to discover why she has won so many Great Taste Awards over the years and why none other than top London department store, Fortnum and Masons, chose her as a supplier.

Nettle Festival and Seed Swap, Saturday 19th March, Barracks Lane Gardens, 11am-4pm:

We are celebrating the wonderful resource that is the nettle and exploring its many uses.  Learn more about this amazing plant, make nettle soup over an open fire, drink nettle tea, find out how and why nettle patches are wonderful things for wildlife. We are combining our Nettlefest with our annual seed swap, an opportunity to share seeds, get tips on propagation and get ready to grow!

11am - 4pm  £5 donation per household / £2 per person gratefully received to support the garden.
