Homesown sell plants raised at home from seed, cuttings and divisions and are the plants they like in their own gardens.

Homesown have a light environmental footprint, always use peat free compost, and steer away from insecticides. Their plants are given tough treatment so they are confident that they will survive and flourish once planted. They lean towards bee friendly plants and knautias, achillea, and salvia have been regulars on their stalls along with foxgloves, cornflowers and corncockle. There is intense pleasure in nurturing new plants and doing this for selling to other people has sharpened their minds and helped them learn a huge amount.

They also sell vegetable plants – squash, courgettes, chard, tomatoes, chillies, lettuce, beans and salad leaves - during Spring and Summer.

Their flowers and plants are healthy, local and friendly to the environment as well as being beautiful.
