Hayley's Kitchen has been involved with East Oxford Farmers' Market for 9 years, originally starting out at Manzil Way selling homemade pumpkin seed pesto, vegetarian dips and wholesome muffins & granola. Upon its relocation Hayley took up a regular position in the cafe (with the help of her sister Nina) and has on occasion held the cake stall. This all started due to her love of food, cooking and nutrition, and has since taken this further by completing an MSc in Nutrition.
Her food is made from locally sourced fresh ingredients when possible, and is a happy customer of Sandy Lane Farm, Cooper's Pork, Crudge's Cheese and others. She enjoys providing a cafe menu that changes with the season, and you will be pleased to know that her popular dish of Asparagus & Poached Eggs with Tarragon & Lemon Butter will be returning when the season begins at Rectory Farm.
Over the years Hayley has been involved with Oxfork, Barefoot Books and Modern Baker, as well as giving gluten & sugar free baking lessons and providing outside catering for private dinners & large family events. But she remains passionate and committed to East Oxford Farmers' Market which is due to the enthusiasm and loyalty the community has for our market.
Hayley's Kitchen is currently developing new plans to bring healthy snacks to the people of Oxfordshire, so keep an eye out for them in the café.
