Annabel has been passionately baking for years and in 2011, she turned her dream into reality and started 'homebaked by Annabel' from her small kitchen in Oxford. Her quest: a desire to create Oxford’s best chocolate brownies and she tried, tested and tasted many combinations of ingredients to perfect her recipe.
Her efforts were rewarded in 2012 with 2 gold stars by the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards for her classic darkest chocolate brownies. She followed this with 2 gold stars for her espresso brownies in 2014 and one gold star for her peanut butter brownies in 2015.
Annabel makes a variety of cakes for her stall at East Oxford Farmers & Community Market and loves exploring new tastes and flavours. She use fruit from her allotment in Marston and also the apples from the trees of her friend and neighbour, Tessa’s - truly locally sourced products!
