Ally has been baking since she was a child and loves experimenting with new flavours. A signatory of the Oxford Good Food Charter, she is passionate about using quality, ethical ingredients - including fair trade and organic chocolate from Green and Black and Divine, fair trade cocoa and sugar, free range eggs (often from garden hens) and local seasonal fruits - and avoiding waste. She varies her offering at each market but it typically includes a wide range of brownies, tiffin, fresh puddings and cakes and there are always gluten free and vegan options.
Having regularly baked for charity events, including the annual One World Fair, she began baking for markets in 2015, quickly becoming a regular at Sandford Market. She also takes special orders for celebration cakes and for catering for events, and her brownies are available gift wrapped and posted to send to friends and family.
Ally is looking forward to being a regular at East Oxford Farmers’ Market. She will be there on the first Saturday of the month.
